WWII lingo (innit, though)

We had another excellent study visit to the British Library today. We looked at Taking Liberties in the morning and then went to a workshop by Jonnie Robinson in the afternoon. Lots of interesting thoughts about language variation and change, and this example from Armstrong and Miller which, as he says, provides material for at least a school project. B-)
